Reading
1. Finish reading “The Horse and His Boy.” You should highlight the words that are unfamiliar to you, and look them up in the dictionary if they block your comprehension.
2. Compose twenty comprehension questions and corresponding answers. You should make one or two questions out of each chapter. Mark the pages and chapters for your questions.
3. Prepare for 15 word definitions in your workbook.
4. Make 10 flashcards following the directions specified in the workbook.
5. As you read, take notes of the plot and anything impressive or questionable so that you can present the story line when asked.
Essay
Think about the issue why people commit suicide and how to prevent it and jot down your ideas on paper. You may look up more information in order to learn more about the motivations of suicide, news of suicide incidents, and probable ways to prevent it. There is no specific form as to how to complete this homework but to share your ideas in class next time.
